EMBODYING YOGA . Empowering YOU.
I serve those with complex trauma to help them discover new navigational coping tools and empower them to be an active participant in their story of recovery. Our bodies are faithful partners carrying the load life presents us regardless of difficulty or joy. I believe each one of us already possesses the intrinsic knowledge and capability to heal even the most devastating of wounds within us. Yoga is the tool that unlocks this potential. It is much more than a physical practice, it is a philosophy. My mission in to make the ancient wisdom of yoga accessible in the modern world to help connect one mind, body, and soul at a time.

MY STORY
I knew I was born to help people at the age of 9. That was when I first met a child with special needs and I've never looked back. My specialty was in the sensory system and communication; working with the hard cases others considered a "lost cause." I was able to make progress with the children when no one else could. In 2010 my passion for a holistic educational approach led me to co-develop a Non- profit school for special needs children serving over 40 children in Dallas, TX.

Fast forward 5 years and my personal life was falling apart. On the outside it looked like I had the perfect life, but on the inside I felt much different. I knew something had to be done. Using my knowledge of the sensory system I began a quest to break down the barriers of my life, end destructive coping behaviors, and confront my suppressed childhood trauma. To help myself I developed a curriculum based on both Eastern and Western knowledge; I utilized anything that stimulated my senses, kept me present, and developed self-love. It saved my life.

The curriculum that saved me is now being offered through my company The Intention Table, and is being used to helping adults unravel, accept, and move through life with a love-based attitude. My curriculum and programs can be found in yoga studios, and trauma centers, non-profit foundations serving those with PTSD and Complex Trauma as well as in corporate offices.
